What is the Ethics Olympiad?

The Ethics Olympiad challenges students to engage thoughtfully with complex real-world ethical issues. Participants are rewarded not for winning arguments, but for demonstrating ethical reasoning, respectful discussion, collaboration and intellectual curiosity.

Competition Pathway

Curtin Ethics Olympiad

The introductory competition where students develop their ethical reasoning skills and gain their first Ethics Olympiad experience.

Perth Ethics Olympiad

A Western Australian competition bringing together schools and university partners from across the state.

National Ethics Olympiad

Qualifying teams can progress to the National Ethics Olympiad and represent Western Australia on the national stage.
